MAR 18 (PRINTWORDS NEWS)- Just when the fuel prices are hitting the rooftop leading US car maker Ford has come up with the new model of its fuel efficient model Focus. Ford arranged for an event to celebrate the launch of the 2012 model. The event held at Ford’s Wayne Assembly plant was attended by 1,000 workers and guests and there was Gov. Rick Snyder as well. The new model of Ford Focus is going to reach the dealerships this month.
Ford is going to launch a sedan edition of Focus with 4 doors and a hatchback as well. The customers have ordered the hatchback more over the Sedan. Ford is betting big on this model and touting Focus as its global model. The design inside the Focus is interesting and it resembles a cockpit. The finish and trimming look classy. It does offer matchless fuel economy in all terrains. The PowerShift transmission now comes with a separate Sports mode. The electric power steering system makes driving the car a pleasant experience.
The cargo space in both the sedan and hatchback models is aplenty but back seats cannot be released remotely. Overall, the 2012 model is an improvement on the previous version. The build quality is solid and the comfort features are what you can expect in a car of its class. The Active Park Assist feature is really useful for the buyers who want to drive the car in congested city roads. The engine sound is as muted as one can expect in a car of its class.
