Chicago, July 30, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Tea Party activist Joe Walsh is presently sued for more than $100,000 in child support, which is unpaid for about five years (2005 to 2010). His ex-wife Laura Walsh’s lawyer Jack Coladarci announced the news to the media on Thursday. The lawyer said that Laura Walsh filed the support claim back in December, which was part of the divorce case and it stated that he owes $117,437 to his family. The court documents now reveal that the ex-wife of the U. S. Representative has stated that he could not pay the money because he was either on jobs or completely out of work. However, Joe Walsh has denied all the allegations and said that he would fight back in the court.

On the other hand, the court documents also state that Joe Walsh gave money to his personal campaign ($35,000) and went abroad for holidays as well. However, the lawyers said that it is quite surprising that the US Representative could spend so much money for his own personal need but he failed to pay the child support payments to his wife and three children. Jack Coladarci said that Laura Walsh is still getting help because the conservative Republican has a job and hence he can be traced. However, it is difficult for her to raise her three children. The lawyer also added that that the ex-wife of Joe Walsh is supporting her family with her own salary.

Last February, Joe Walsh stated in the court documents that he did not pay all the money because he thought that he and his wife are coming back to an agreement on the money. Laura Walsh filed for divorce back in 2002 after being together for 15 years. Regarding the recent allegations Joe Walsh said, “I’ve always given everything I have to meet my financial obligations to my children and I will fight until my last breath against anyone who says otherwise”.
