New York, July 19, (PRINTWORDS NEWS) Jonah Shacknai, the CEO/Chairman of Medicis Pharmaceutical life seems to have come to a standstill and under scanner as one tragedy followed the other in his life. On Sunday, the son Jonah Shacknai, Max Shacknai died at a San Diego hospital. The six-year old son of the pharmaceutical tycoon died because of the injuries that he suffered a week ago after falling from the stairs. His unfortunate death came just after two days Jonah Shacknai’s girlfriend Rebecca Nalepa was found dead on Wednesday.
The law enforcement officials are presently investigating if there is any link between these two deaths. On the other hand, a reputed media outlet reported that a gala party was held at the mansion of the multimillionaire just a night Max Shacknai fell from the stairs! Just two days after the fateful incident, Jonah Shacknai’s girlfriend was found hanging naked from the balcony and her feet and hands were bound with an electrical cord. Police said that the lady received “very violent and very suspicious end”. The law enforcement officials are presently investigating if it was a possible case of suicide. These two deaths all the more deepens the mystery in Spreckels Mansion in Coronado suburb. Moreover, the death of Rebecca Nalepa was called “bizarre” by the police. However, the police officers are presently waiting for the forensic results to determine if it was a possible case of suicide or she has been murdered. 
The news of Max Shacknai’s death was first revealed in a joint statement by the business tycoon and his ex-wife Dina Shacknai. In the statement the Jonah Shacknai and his wife stated, “‘With great sadness, Dina and I convey the tragic passing of our beloved son, Max (affectionately known as Maxie)”. The mourning parents stated that in spite of the “heroic efforts” on the part of hospital and paramedics staffs their beloved son could not be saved. The pharmaceutical tycoon and his ex-wife also added that their son’s kind, loving and vibrant spirit will always be in their hearts.
The law enforcement officials refused to divulge any details about this case but only said that the 6 year old kid’s death is under investigation. The law enforcement officials said this to be a “tragic” incident. The eyewitnesses told the media outlets that the little boy was not even breathing and the doctors could not find his pulse when he was taken to the hospital. A memorial service for the boy will be held on Tuesday. The police officers said that Jonah Shacknai was not at his home when Adam, his brother found Rebecca Nalepa’s body. Roy Frank, the Homicide Sergeant told a reputed media outlet that the police received information that said that there might have been a party at the house last Tuesday. Sergeant Roy Frank also added that the detectives are presently looking into Jonah Shacknai’s girlfriend Rebecca Nalepa’s life before her death. “We would be looking into the victimology”, he said. San Diego County Sheriff Tim Curran said that the death of Rebecca Nalepa is “very suspicious”. “It appears to be some type of a violent death, and I’m not going to compromise the integrity of the investigation by giving anything more than that at this time”, he said. 
Tim Curran said that police is not considering Jonah Shacknai’s brother Adam Shacknai as a possible suspect right at this point of time. However, the business tycoon, his ex-wife and his brother have been interrogated by the police officers. Louis Scanlon, the police chief of Colorado said, “At this time, we have no information that would lead us to believe this is anything other than a tragic accident with the child”.
